Baby logging, shared

Everyone's on the same timeline.

Feeds, nappies, sleep and mood — logged by whoever's holding the baby, into one shared day. So the handover is just: look at your phone.

Why we're building it

Three problems, every single week.

None of them are about tracking for its own sake. They're all about somebody not knowing something they needed to know.

What Bugawuga does

The answer is already on screen

You never go looking for the last feed. Home tells you before you ask — no tapping, no maths at 3am.

Last fed 2h 11m ago · left side
What Bugawuga does

One timeline, not six texts

Send her a code and she logs straight into the day, with her name on every entry. Nothing to relay, nothing to lose.

What Bugawuga does

Totals you can read out loud

Every day carries its own counts, and you can export the last week as a PDF on the way to the appointment.

Last 7 days · 7.1 nappies a day

Four things, properly

Enough detail to be useful. Not so much that you won't do it at 3am.

Every entry takes one tap to start. Add the detail later, or don't — a rough log beats no log.

Feeding

Breast or bottle. Run the timer and tap switch sides when you swap, or type the minutes in afterwards if you forgot to start it. Formula and expressed milk log in ml.

Left / rightSwitch sides mid-feedLive timerEnter manually

Nappies

Wet, dirty, or both. Two taps and you're out. The counts are already totalled for you when someone asks — a health visitor, a GP, or you at 4am wondering if today was normal.

💧 Wet💩 Dirty💧💩 Both

Sleep

Start the clock when she goes down and it keeps running in the background — including when your phone locks and you fall asleep too. Or add a nap that's already finished.

Mood

One to five, whenever you notice. Not a diagnosis — just a shape for the day, so you can see the 5pm dip coming before it arrives.

Designed for one thumb

You'll be using this in the dark, holding a baby.

So every control that matters lives inside the arc your thumb can actually reach. Nothing important at the top of the screen.

1

Big targets, bottom of the screen

Four buttons, thumb-sized, always in the same place. Muscle memory does the rest.

2

Three tabs, no menus

Home, History, Settings. You are never more than one tap from where you were.

3

Dark mode that's actually dark

No white flash at 3am. Follows your phone, or lock it on.

4

Timers survive a locked phone

Start the sleep timer, put the phone down, fall asleep. It's still counting.

History

Yesterday at a glance. Every minute of it if you need one.

Each day is a card with the totals on the front. Tap it for the full timeline — who logged what, and when.

Shared care

Add whoever's helping. It takes about forty seconds.

A partner, a grandparent, a childminder, a night nurse. They don't need to figure out an app — they get a text and a code.

STEP ONE

Send them a code

Type their number in Settings. They get a text with a link and a six-digit code.

STEP TWO

They set up a profile

Name, number, email. That's it — no account to create, no app store detour.

STEP THREE

They're on the timeline

Everything they log shows up with their name on it. Remove them any time.

And the housekeeping, handled

More than one child

Add a second or third. Switch between them from the top of the home screen — separate timelines, one login.

Export your data

Download everything as a spreadsheet or PDF — handy before a GP or health visitor appointment. Delete your account and it's gone for good.
